Introducers Welcome

About Us

The Pensions Office Ltd

Founded in (year) The Pensions Office quickly gained a reputation around the country for its unique approach to the assessment of proposed pension transfers. The company consolidated the provision of its services to a restricted number of introducers in 2007 after its founder and Managing Director, Keith Popplewell, went into early retirement.

2010 brought a number of new introducers and a huge increase in the number of instructions. We now have enhanced resources for handling new business and, more importantly, Keith has been forced out of retirement! Keith has now completely regenerated The Pensions Office whilst maintaining our unique approach to business: especially in areas considered too difficult or dangerous by most pensions advisers and adviser networks. We are particularly proud of an excellent report from the FSA during our latest periodic assessment.

Keith is one of the country’s highest qualified pensions advisers. Indeed, he has written three of the leading text books for insurance, investment and pensions examinations of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). He has also been commissioned to write a series of four ‘practical’ guides for ‘Streetwise’ publishers.

Keith is probably best known amongst financial advisers as a prolific and hugely popular seminar presenter for over a decade, this being one of the factors leading to Keith being voted ‘Financial Services Personality of the year three years running.

He has been contracted as a pensions and investments trainer to The FSA’s specialist pensions team and the sales forces of a number of major insurance companies. He was the IFA delegate on the Regulator’s Working Party of The Securities and Investments Board (the forerunner to the FSA) pension transfer review.

Finally tiring of ‘doing the rounds’ Keith now happily devotes his time to The Pensions Office and our sister company – Professional Briefing (soon to launch an internet reference library for financial advisers and private investors (specialising in pensions).
